Materials Engineering Lead

As Materials Engineering Lead you will respond to the Head of Department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line within Material Engineering Department.

The candidate will oversee all departmental disciplines involved in project development: “materials selection and corrosion,” “cathodic protection systems,” “welding and metallurgy,” and “coatings and insulation.”

• Education
  :
  Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or materials science.
• Experience
  :
  At least 8 years of experience in one or more of the fields listed above.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Corrosion, material selection and anti‑corrosion systems, metallurgy and welding knowledge. Previous experience in Oil & Gas sectors, fertilizer plants and low‑carbon solutions and familiarity with international standards is preferred.
• IT Skills
  :
  Office, CAD, Power BI and main software packages. Familiarity with databases and digital applications.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for short periods to engineering centers, suppliers, or construction sites.
