As a Business partner Thales Alenia Space (TAS) Procurement manages half of company turnover in areas such as industry, services, production of equipment and subsystems.  In this context, TAS is exposed to risks of industrial, technical or financial failure of its suppliers, with a potential impact on its performance and consequently on its profitability.  As Execution Performance Manager (EPM), you will be responsible for managing the contractual relationship with suppliers, from signing the contact till product delivery, executing the contract and ensuring technical performance, planning and compliance of delivered products.

Located in Roma you will endorse a transnational role working within the Industry Components and Services segment of Thales Alenia Space Procurement organization.

During the supplier selection process you will provide feedback on supplier performance and current / planned capabilities to validate the reliability of contractual milestones, deliverables and to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Once signature of contract, the EPM:  
• Manages suppliers relatioship throughout the execution of the contract for all questions related to the supplied products (technical, industrial, planning, quality, contractual), and negotiate changes about specification, price or schedule evolution  
• Implements the necessary actions in order to detect at the earliest possible risks or technical, quality or programmatic problems, which may affect the project schedule or the cost of non-quality, and mobilize all the means necessary to ensure treatment fast and thorough  
• Provided internal customers and central functions with technical and programmatic risks and opportunities, the forecast of costs and deliveries, using the appropriate tools  
• Ensures the product compliance verification process, managing formal reviews and organizing deliverables acceptance milestones.  
• At each formal stage of the contract, ensures the completeness of the deliverables, obtains the approval of the associated data package and authorizes the delivery of the products within the planned criteria (such as payments, penalties)
Significant experiences in the following areas:  
• Supplier / customer relationship management  
• Procurement activities in multi-site and multidisciplinary manufacturing, engineering or technical organizations, with strong technical knowledge of the products concerned  
Project management  
• Risk management  
• Advanced negotiation skills  
• Knowledge or willingness to learn contractual aspects / legal terms, and the analysis and interpretation thereof
• Strong project management skills in a context of supplier procurement and review of industrial projects in the space or aeronautic fields  
• Solid technical experience in the development and production of products in one or more of the following areas:
Assembly Integration and Tests (AIT), Mechanical, electrical or Harness.  
• Positive experience in supplier / customer relationship management  
• Ability to detect weak signals from the structural or operational organization of suppliers and to propose improvement actions
• Strong autonomy, sense of responsibility, rigor and transparency  
• Fast and proactive problem solver  
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills are essential for building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, on a transnational basis, regardless of the criticality or complexity of the topics to be addressed.  
• Wishes to contribute to an agile and collaborative operating model, “One International Company”  
• Flexible, responsible and 'do-it-yourself' approach to operate effectively in a rapidly changing business growth environment.  
• Mobility (regular trips) mainly in Europe.
