Our client, a global life sciences company focused on healthcare and agriculture, is seeking a Project Instrumentation Engineer to join their team. As a Project Instrumentation Engineer, you will be part of site‑based project engineering support, working closely with cross‑functional project, safety, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem‑solving skills, clear communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Project Instrumentation Engineer (6-month contract)

$62.50 - 71.43/hr

• Provide instrumentation engineering support for site projects, including specification, design, testing, and troubleshooting
• Develop and review instrumentation design deliverables such as spec sheets, loop sheets, schematics, P&IDs, and cable schedules
• Support Safety Instrumented System (SIS) initiatives, including functional safety and project migration efforts
• Perform field engineering activities, including site walks, QA/QC, subcontractor coordination, and commissioning support
• Support project execution from conceptual design through startup while managing schedule, budget, and quality expectations

• 8 years of instrumentation engineering experience or at least 5 years of experience in chemical production or refinery
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
