Candidate must be based in Italy (Remote)

• Lead turn‑key EPC battery energy storage projects through delivery, from contract execution to successful handover to operations, working closely with finance, engineering, procurement and other functional groups.
• Lead teams in reviewing engineering designs and managing project schedules, budgets, personnel allocation, and safety/quality plans across projects at various stages of life.
• Rapidly resolve technical issues to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with other functions to close all snags, quality issues and non‑conformances.
• Manage relationships with EPC contractors, equipment delivery partners and other stakeholders throughout the project delivery phase.
• Oversee contractors and sub‑contractors to ensure quality, schedule and safety guidelines are met on job sites.
• Work proactively with customers, suppliers, partners, sales and senior management to meet project deliverables and contract requirements.
• Evaluate construction methods for cost‑effectiveness and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Participate in business improvement projects, documenting and communicating initial project plans and subsequent changes to the team.
• Support negotiations of project contracts with potential contractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the project finance team on budget reviews, project revenue and cash‑flow forecasts, and propose mitigation actions to contain cost growth when appropriate.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Combined 7 years of experience in project management, construction management, or engineering within the power generation market.
• Experience delivering a project to a Utility customer in Ireland (beneficial).
• Minimum of 3 years of P&L responsibility delivering equipment supply or turn‑key projects.
• More than 5 years of experience managing subcontractor contracts.
• Experience leading a matrix project organization comprised of 6 or more functional areas.
• Valid Project Management certification (e.g., PMI PgMP, IPMA Level
  
  B).
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to present ideas and suggestions clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Knowledge of local Italian construction law and experience with substation reconstruction projects and local TSO/DSO requirements.
• Business‑level proficiency in English and Italian languages.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Familiarity with typical codes and standards for electrical equipment.
• Experience with turn‑key energy infrastructure project construction.
• Knowledge of the Energy Storage market (advantageous but not essential).
• Agile mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced start‑up technology environment.
