Our Telescope Department is leading the deployment of high‑performance telescopes in some of the most iconic and pristine observatory locations worldwide.

We are currently seeking a motivated and hands‑on AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assembling, aligning, testing, and commissioning our telescopes both at our facilities and at remote international observatory sites.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct optical alignment and calibration, working closely with optical and system engineers to ensure high‑precision setup.
  • Prepare AIT documentation, including test procedures, integration workflows, reports and as‑run procedures.
  • Handle critical assemblies, including optical mounts, structural elements, and GSE.
  • Participate in night observation campaigns and system verification tests under real sky conditions.
  • Support technical reviews and meetings, contributing to design improvement feedback based on hands‑on test results.

  • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in AIT or system integration environments.
  • Practical experience with mechanical and optical handling and alignment.
  • Basic proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, CATIA).

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and schedules.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and remain on‑site for medium to long‑term international missions (up to several weeks or months).
Why Join Us
  • Be part of a cutting‑edge space program protecting Earth from space hazards.
  • Work at prestigious international observatory sites, under the clearest skies in the world.
  • Grow in a dynamic cross‑disciplinary team with strong engineering and scientific expertise.
  • Gain experience across the full lifecycle of telescope systems, from design to final commissioning.
