We are currently looking for a Head of Downstream Sales BU Western Europe – Italy B&I to join us in Wavin Italia S.P.A, an Orbia business. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
Main purposeThe Head of Downstream Sales BU Western Europe – Italy B&I plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the overall downstream sales function within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring the implementation of commercial strategy within the business unit, maintaining strong customer focus and relationships while adhering to company policies and procedures. By leading a team of Area Managers and sales on field, setting and monitoring key performance indicators, this role aims to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks associated with the commercial strategy and goals, thereby contributing to the financial health and operational effectiveness of the company.
Mainresponsibilities
- Translate BU strategy into local strategy and country commercial plan with targets and actions
- Ensure sales team Revenue, GSM, & sustainability targets
- Manage directly sales accounts
- Execute pricing strategy securing channel alignment
- Manage / overview the transition Upstream to Downstream to ensure the successful closure of projects
- Collect & share requirements / demands as well as upcoming trends for the Downstream target group with Global functions as part of the general offering pipeline
- Lead the SAMBA methodology & coaching sales team members
- People leadership role for recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing team
- 3-6 years of experience in sales function in multinational companies or similar experience in related commercial departments.
- Professional with strong commercial and business acumen
- Great negotiation skills
- Knowledge of SAP is required
- Strong communication skills with fluency in Italian & English language (verbal and written)
- Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws)
