IT Specialist, Key User Cargo write, Solutions, Italy

For our office in Settala (MI) we are looking for a IT Specialist.

Our main services are:

• Warehousing
• Value‑added services
• Bonded warehouses
• Automated warehouse solutions

Core Responsibilities

• System Maintenance & Setup
• Manage location setups and updates within WMS
• Ensure accurate configuration of warehouse zones and processes.
• Operational Support
• Monitor inbound and outbound logistics, including sequencing and part supply.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies caused by system errors.
• Process Optimization
• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Communication & Training
• Serve as the point of contact between warehouse staff and IT administrators.
• Train team members on system usage and updates.

Typical Qualifications

• Education
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering/Information technology
• B.Com in Logistics is often preferred.
• Experience
• 5+ years in warehouse logistics.
• 3–5 years in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• 1–2 years in compliance and service delivery management.
• The Knowledge of Autostore is a plus
• Technical Skills
• Advanced experience with warehouse management systems, especially WMS (Cargo write could be a plus)
• Familiarity with KPIs, inventory control, and sequencing processes
• Availability for business trips
