Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer Your role

We are looking for a Smart Manufacturing & Connected Systems Specialist to join our Business Process Innovation (BPI) team. The role will focus on supporting and executing projects in the areas of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES),
Operational Technology (OT), and Business Intelligence (BI), contributing to the digital transformation roadmap across our global Operations.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, hands‑on experience in MES and OT environments, and a passion for data‑driven innovation and agile digitalization projects. He/She will work closely with our Manufacturing Engineering, IT and other BPI teams to support the implementation of digital solutions that improve efficiency, traceability, and performance on the shop floor.

Main responsibilities
  • Support the execution of innovation projects across all phases: requirements gathering, functional analysis, technical specifications, testing, go-live, and post-deployment monitoring.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, system integrators, and solution providers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyze shop floor data and contribute to the development of Business Intelligence reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor operational performance.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support for MES and OT solutions, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other BPI Centers of Excellence (e.g., Digital Manufacturing DIGMA, Digital-SPC, AI & Advanced Analytics, Traceability, Smart Retail Operations) to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across initiatives.
Main requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Statistic, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MES, OT systems, Power-BI and other digital manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 principles.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SCADA, PLCs, data historians, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English;
    French or other languages are a plus.
