Italian Content Associate

Hallow is on a mission to help people pray. We’re the No. 1 prayer app in the world, with more than 1 billion prayers prayed across 150+ countries. We’re building a product that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while also being a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: “Come to me, all that are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28).

We’re hiring a bilingual (Italian/English), Italy-based content associate to own and grow Hallow’s Italian-language app. The role involves creating and curating original prayer content, and overseeing end‑to‑end content operations.

• Direct all Italian-language content operations and build a comprehensive content library: create thousands of hours of original prayer content for our community across the Italian‑speaking world, coordinating closely with audio production, engineering, voiceover, translation, and external partners.
• Acquire, translate, and write prayers: research prayers and prayer traditions from around the world to ensure thoughtful representation, accurately translate prayers from English into Italian, and write original prayers in Italian. A strong background in theology and writing is essential.
• Work with Italian-speaking guest contributors: reach out to speakers, authors, theologians, and other contributors to gather guest content such as prayer sessions and Bible stories. Attend live recordings (in person or online) when required.
• Own the content operations and development cycle end‑to‑end: support all aspects of launching content in the app, including negotiating contract terms, sending payments to guest contributors, conducting quality assurance, booking recording studios, and managing placement and release.
• Drive toward key goals: report to the Head of International for hitting KPIs across content production, community retention, and partnerships, and set quarterly goals for the Italian content team.
• Collaborate with Growth and Product teams: occasionally provide input on ads, messaging, and emails, and collaborate with Product as we refine the app in Italian.

• Mission: impacting lives daily and hearing amazing stories from our users.
• Ownership: play a central role in crafting and executing strategy for the entire Italian market. This is a part‑time role for at least the remainder of 2026.

• Bilingual (Italian & English): native Italian speaker and fluent English speaker.
• Location:
  
  based in Italy for the majority of the year and able to travel occasionally to audio recordings. Willing to work late afternoon/early evening to overlap with U.S. time zones.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years translating content from English into Italian.
• Communication: expert communicator and conversationalist. Ability to negotiate and build relationships is a must. Experience with influencer marketing, partnerships, or the Catholic Church in the region is a bonus.
