Description:
CNA
- Part Time (37.5 Hours). Resident's activities of daily living needs are met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures within a safe and comfortable environment. This includes hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, turning/positioning, skin care, etc. Documentation is completed per protocol. Resident's environment and safety are maintained as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures.
This includes answering call lights and alarms promptly, provision of safety mats and low beds, and restraint use under the direction of Nursing. Maintaining cleanliness of the unit and monitoring for malfunctioning equipment is essential. Documentation is completed per protocol. Resident's nutritional needs are met in accordance with the plan of care and policies and procedures. This involves meal delivery, tray preparation, adaptive equipment, feeding, and honoring resident preferences.
Documentation is completed per protocol. Resident's rehabilitative needs are met as outlined in the plan of care, including range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and use of assistive devices. Documentation is completed per protocol. Resident rights, refusals, and concerns are reported to the Charge Nurse in a timely fashion in accordance with policies and procedures. Changes in resident physical, emotional, and psychosocial status are identified and reported promptly.
Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
