LPN - Long-Term Care

Schedule:

Part Time Nights (2x8s/3x8s), every other weekend. Must be able to begin orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• NY LPN Licensure
• BLS (AHA or RQI specifically)
• 1 year experience as LPN

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel following established care plans and policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by promptly attending to call lights, maintaining cleanliness, and monitoring safety equipment.
• Document all care and interventions per established protocols.
• Report any changes in resident status or concerns to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

• Holiday work is required.
• Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is anticipated; tasks may involve contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
