CNA - Part Time
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) needs as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, turning/positioning, and skin care. Documentation must be completed according to protocol. The CNA will maintain the residents' environment and safety as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures.
Tasks include responding to call lights and alarms promptly, providing safety mats and low beds, and maintaining cleanliness of the unit. Behavior and fall prevention measures are necessary, along with the appropriate use of equipment. Documentation must be completed according to protocol. Nutritional needs of residents will be met as outlined in the plan of care. This includes meal delivery, tray preparation, adaptive equipment, and honoring residents' preferences and choices.

This includes range of motion exercises, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and the use of assistive devices. Documentation must be completed according to protocol. Residents' rights, refusals, and concerns must be reported to the supervising nurse in a timely manner.
Any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status must be promptly reported. Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated, and required tasks may involve contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
