RN Supervisor - Full Time Nights
Schedule:
Full Time Nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Every Other Weekend, Holiday
Assignment Details: 22-26 week contract, must run through holidays, end date flexible
Requirements:
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care
- Supervisory experience across multiple units
- BLS certification (through AHA or RQI) required
- CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of the nursing units and provide clinical supervision to staff.
- Assure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of team members.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Director of Nursing regarding unit problems and resolutions.
- Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Foster effective teamwork and manage multiple priorities in a professional manner.
- Maintain familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
