CNA - Part Time
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for meeting residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) needs as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures. This includes assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, turning/positioning, and skin care. Documentation must be completed per protocol. The CNA will maintain residents' environment and safety according to the plan of care and policies.
Responsibilities include promptly answering call lights and alarms, ensuring cleanliness of the unit, and monitoring equipment for safety. Documentation must be completed per protocol. Nutritional needs of residents will be met as outlined in the plan of care. This involves meal delivery, tray preparation, feeding, and honoring resident preferences. Rehabilitative needs will be addressed according to the plan of care, which includes range of motion, ambulation, transfers, and the use of assistive devices.
Documentation must be completed per protocol. Residents' rights, refusals, and concerns must be reported to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner. Changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status must be promptly reported. There is a potential for occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens, and required tasks may involve contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
