Full-Time CNA Position

Full Time CNA position available with day/evening shift rotations. Shift includes every other weekend and holiday requirements. Candidates must have a NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and a minimum of one year of experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care according to individual care plans.

The role involves maintaining resident safety and environment by responding to call lights, using safety equipment, preventing falls, and keeping the unit clean. Support residents during meals by delivering trays, assisting with feeding, using adaptive equipment, and honoring food preferences. Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including range of motion, walking, transfers, proper positioning, and the use of aids. Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.

Measure and record weight, intake, and output. Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes of residents. Provide companionship and support for residents' social and emotional needs through interaction. Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights at all times. Promptly report any resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nurse. Complete all required documentation timely and according to protocol. Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.

Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
