Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. This role requires a skilled individual to provide direct and indirect care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in a long-term care setting. The CNA will demonstrate expertise in meeting the needs of adult and geriatric patients, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are upheld.

Key responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) include:

• Meet residents' ADL needs in accordance with care plans and policies, ensuring a safe environment
• Maintain residents' safety and environment per care plans, including prompt call light response
• Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met, respecting preferences and completing required documentation
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs such as range of motion, ambulation, and use of assistive devices
• Report residents' rights, refusals, concerns, and changes in status to Charge Nurse promptly
• Acknowledge potential occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens

Requirements of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) include:

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS (AHA or RQI)
• One year of experience in long-term care or CNA capacity
• High School Diploma or GED
