RN Supervisor – Long Term Care

Schedule:

Part Time Nights (2-3 shifts/week, every other weekend, and holidays)

Guaranteed

Hours:

Contract Weeks: 22

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
• BLS certification required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation
• CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long term care
• Supervisory experience across multiple units preferred

• Oversee the operation of the nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing
• Provide clinical supervision to staff assigned to the nursing units
• Assure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding unit problems and collaborate on resolutions
• Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing
• Facilitate clinical management and manage multiple priorities effectively
