Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker)
Pay range: $15.00 to $16.50 per hour, based on experience. This role offers a fast‑paced retail environment with the opportunity to grow into higher positions such as Lead Pawnbroker, Assistant Manager and beyond.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting in person and on the phone.
- Process sales, loans, and extensions.
- Perform opening and closing store duties.
- Assist customers in reaching mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug test (after a conditional offer).
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus.
- Sales background, a plus.
- Bilingual, a plus.

Start as a Trainee in a 5‑week paid training program with a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Earn an additional $1 per hour through the Pawnbroker Certification Program and potential promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader). Apply for an Assistant Manager position, which includes a 6‑month training program to acquire the skills to run your own store.
