WellD Italia is looking for a Senior Backend developer to join its dev team.

In this role, you will work on a mission‑critical project for a global leader in the FMCG industry headquartered in Alba. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the client’s international success and the quality of software solutions used at an enterprise scale. You will have the opportunity to actively shape how these digital tools deliver real‑world value, ensuring excellence in a high‑stakes, prestigious environment.

Our office is located in Milan, in the Isola/Garibaldi district. This is a hybrid position: it currently requires being present at the client’s headquarters in Alba for 4 days a week. In the future, the frequency of on‑site days may decrease, but we will define this as the project evolves.

We currently work with Java (BE), Angular (FE) – exploiting git / gitlab and the use of Docker. For this specific position, we need someone with good knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem.

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgre

SQL) and Angular/Front‑end is also valued.

• Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem and experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or similar frameworks.
• Proactive problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Continuous desire to learn and improve in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Developing scalable backend solutions using Java and ensuring their seamless integration with frontend technologies.
