Senior Mobile Developer
The Mobile Team is responsible for building and evolving high‑quality iOS and Android applications that bring Translated’s products and services directly into the hands of users worldwide. Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Own features and projects end‑to‑end, from concept and design to release and maintenance.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of mobile applications.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define and integrate APIs and services.
- Participate in code reviews—both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.
- Write tests and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability.
- Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver user‑centric solutions.
- Monitor app performance and user feedback to continuously improve the mobile experience.
- Write clear technical documentation that others can actually use.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile software development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
- Experience building and maintaining production‑level mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform guidelines.
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies as part of the development workflow (e.g., code generation, testing assistance, debugging, or integrating AI‑powered features).
- Enjoys owning problems end‑to‑end and proactively learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase).
- Knowledge of app store deployment processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Espresso).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
- Experience integrating AI/ML‑powered features into mobile applications.
