Senior Mobile Developer

The Mobile Team is responsible for building and evolving high‑quality iOS and Android applications that bring Translated’s products and services directly into the hands of users worldwide. • Design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Own features and projects end‑to‑end, from concept and design to release and maintenance.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of mobile applications.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define and integrate APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews—both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.
• Write tests and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability.
• Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver user‑centric solutions.
• Monitor app performance and user feedback to continuously improve the mobile experience.
• Write clear technical documentation that others can actually use.

• 5+ years of experience in mobile software development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
• Experience building and maintaining production‑level mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform guidelines.
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies as part of the development workflow (e.g., code generation, testing assistance, debugging, or integrating AI‑powered features).
• Enjoys owning problems end‑to‑end and proactively learning new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase).
• Knowledge of app store deployment processes and best practices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Espresso).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Experience integrating AI/ML‑powered features into mobile applications.
