Position Summary: Bentley Systems is seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on pipelines and cloud orchestration to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and managing the systems that build, test, and deploy our next-generation infrastructure engineering applications. You will work closely with our software development teams to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud orchestration solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of engineering applications by leveraging cutting‑edge technologies within Bentley’s growing Digital Twin ecosystem. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and a drive to continuously learn and innovate.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain our cloud orchestration platform to automate the deployment and management of our infrastructure.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Utilize your scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Bash) to automate operational tasks and improve engineering workflows.
  • Implement and manage solutions for observability, monitoring, and logging to ensure the reliability, performance, and health of our systems.
  • Work in close collaboration with software development teams to integrate new services and applications into our automated pipelines.
  • Mentor other team members and share your expertise in cloud‑native technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience in a Software Engineering, Dev Ops, or SRE role with a focus on cloud environments.
  • Strong experience with cloud orchestration and infrastructure as code (IaC) on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, with a strong preference for Azure Dev Ops.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, Power Shell, or Bash.
  • Experience working with Git or other distributed version control systems.

What would make you stand out:

  • Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert certification.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with web‑based desktop application frameworks (Electron, Tauri, WebView2, etc.).

Please note if you are employed full‑time, the salary for this position ranges from 3800 EUR gross (before taxes‑Lithuania) depending on knowledge and experience.
