Operations Analyst Pay Rate: $22.29/hr on W2
Location:
Hybrid in1400 MERRILL LYNCH DR., Pennington, NJ(Minimum of 3 days onsite per week) Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire) Target

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support the Institutional and Retirement Billing team. In this role, you will help ensure billing, revenue, and commission activities are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent service to internal and external clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with the potential for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform account onboarding and maintenance by establishing billing setups, maintaining fee schedules, and validating billing information. Review account documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance before processing. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment variances, rejected transactions, and other routine operational issues. Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, receivables, and commission activities through multiple communication channels. Support billing, revenue collection, receivables, and commission processing while ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate financial reporting.
Understand end-to-end operational workflows, associated risks, internal controls, and the impact of work on upstream and downstream business processes. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience performing operational or administrative processes while meeting established procedures and service level agreements. Experience using multiple systems and applications to complete high-volume operational tasks accurately and efficiently. Experience reviewing operational transactions, financial activities, or client documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads while consistently meeting productivity and quality standards. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis .
Working knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in billing, accounts receivable, payment processing, revenue collection, or other finance-related operations. Experience validating financial, operational, or client data for accuracy and completeness. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues. General knowledge of wealth management, retirement services, lending, or investment products. TMCA
