ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (ED Holds) — Pennington, NJ (8-Week Contract)

ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool opportunity in Pennington, NJ (08534). 12-hour night shifts, Cerner EMR, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS required. Join our emergency department and float pool team supporting MST units and ED Holds at RMC and Hopewell campuses. Ideal for experienced ER/acute care nurses seeking short-term contract work in New Jersey healthcare.

• Setting: MST Units & Emergency Department (ED) Holds
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Contract Length: 8 weeks (with potential for extension)

• Hourly Pay Rate: $83.70/hour

• Minimum 2 years of recent MST or emergency department nursing experience (ER RN / acute care)
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
• Ability and willingness to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses and across MST and ED Hold units
• Experience documenting in Cerner EMR preferred

• Provide high-quality emergency and acute care nursing to patients in MST units and ED Holds
• Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses as assigned to meet patient care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, case management, and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, attendance expectations, and shift make-up requirements
• Maintain required certifications and comply with vaccination and infection control policies

Schedule Note: Any missed scheduled shift must be made up within the same week. Overtime is not permitted for make-up shifts. If a shift cannot be made up within the same week, the assignment end date will be extended to include the missed shift(s).
