Database Developer

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Database Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Design and implement robust, scalable data models (Relational and Document-based) that align with business requirements and enterprise standards
• Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Perform deep-dive performance tuning using SQL Trace, TKPROF, and Explain Plans
• Create and maintain Logical and Physical data models using tools like ERwin, Toad, or Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
• Assist in the strategy and implementation of Mongo
  
  DB for specific high-velocity or unstructured data use cases
• Design data migration strategies and ETL pipelines to move data between legacy systems, Oracle, and No
  
  SQL environments
• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for development teams regarding database best practices, indexing strategies, and schema design

• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c, including RAC, Partitioning, and Advanced Security
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema), ODS design, and Master Data Management (MDM)
• Proven ability to tune highly fragmented or slow-performing databases in high-concurrency environments
• Proficiency in ER diagrams and architectural documentation

• Familiarity with MongoDB

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
