Warehouse Specialist

The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and supports warehouse raw material and finished product functions. The individual should be extremely detail oriented, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and have adequate physical strength to unload shipments.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments for raw materials, intermediates, drug substance and drug product.
• Manage freight forwarders and carriers; monitor shipment status and proactively resolve issues.
• Prepare, review and maintain shipping and customs documentation.
• Support temperature‑controlled, time‑sensitive and high‑value shipments.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with GMP/GDP requirements and internal SOPs.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Procurement and Project teams to align shipment schedules.
• Track logistics costs and support cost‑control and optimization initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, life sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Approximately five years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably within CDMO, biotech, pharma or life sciences industries.
• Solid experience with international shipping, customs clearance and freight forwarder management.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (GMP/GDP).
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities independently.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Please note that this role is a full‑time onsite role in Pennington, New Jersey. The estimated pay range for the role is $65,000–$75,000 annually.
