Campaign Manager

The Pennington School seeks an experienced and highly organized Campaign Manager to play a critical role in providing campaign organization, oversight, and prospect management support. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position works collaboratively with the Assistant Head of School for Advancement and Strategic Initiatives, the Head of School, the Board of Trustees, and the Advancement and Campaign committees.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and brings experience in capital campaigns and fundraising systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Campaign and Prospect Management- Manage overall campaign organization, including prospect pipeline reports, strategy tracking, volunteer assignments, and status updates
- Lead prospect management processes to support short- and long-term philanthropic goals
- Facilitate prospect management meetings and track portfolio performance
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive moves management system
- Conduct prospect screening, identification, and development of basic research profiles
- Maintain accurate campaign reports, including gifts and pledges to date, cash flow projections, and volunteer productivity reports
- Oversee campaign gift agreements and pledge recording
- Support the preparation of the Board of Trustees and committee reports
- Track engagement and solicitation activities to support strategic initiatives
- Draft personalized acknowledgement letters and other stewardship materials
- Assist in producing campaign communications, solicitation proposals, and meeting follow-up materials
- Support recognition events, reports, signage, and donor stewardship initiatives
- Organize and support campaign volunteer activities
- Attend approved conferences for networking and professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Development or Assistant Head of School for Advancement
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three to five years of fundraising experience, preferably in an independent school or higher education environment
- Experience working on a capital campaign strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge (Blackbaud) preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Google Workspace
- Experience using prospect research tools and developing prospect profiles
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality regarding donor and prospect information
This role requires occasional evening and weekend work to support alumni, parent, and donor events. This position requires occasional travel and a valid driver's license.

The minimum annual salary for this position is $65,000. The actual offer will be commensurate with skills and experience. This position is located at our 55-acre campus in Pennington, NJ. The ability to walk up and down stairs is required. Not all buildings on campus have elevators.
