Overview Registered Nurse, NICU travel assignment in Pennington, New Jersey.
Start date:
10/07/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,015-$2,162 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts). This assignment takes place in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 12 ICU bassinets and 15 Level II bassinets in a hospital setting. The program is part of Travel Nursing through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Level III NICU in a hospital with mixed NICU capacities - EMR:
Cerner system used for patient documentation - Schedule requirement:
Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Provide direct nursing care for neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, assessing needs, and responding to clinical changes
- Administer medications, provide respiratory support, thermoregulation, nutrition support, and routine NICU procedures as prescribed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary NICU team to develop and implement care plans for vulnerable newborns
- Document patient data and progress in the Cerner EMR, ensure accurate handoffs, and maintain thorough patient records
- Support family education and engagement around newborn care and discharge planning
- Adhere to unit protocols and infection control practices while maintaining patient safety and quality of care
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact license valid for New Jersey at time of submission
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience; prior travel nurse experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a Level III NICU environment with complex neonates and varied acuity
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current nursing licensure
- Availability for the assigned schedule:
Nights with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Travel assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC
