Java Developer Microservices

Overview

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with Microservices with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Lead the development of our next-generation platform
• Design, build, and scale distributed backend services that are resilient, high-performing, and cloud-native
• Play a pivotal role in transitioning legacy monolithic components into a decoupled, event-driven ecosystem

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying microservices in a production environment
• Senior Java Developer with a deep specialization in Microservices Architecture
• Expert-level knowledge of Java 17/21, focusing on Concurrency, Streams, and JVM tuning
• Extensive experience with the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Security, Cloud, Data)
• Proficiency in synchronous (HTTP/JSON) and asynchronous (Message Queues) messaging
• Strong commitment to TDD/BDD using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber
• Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git Lab CI)

Pay Range: $55.06-$63.06

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
10 employees will be considered for this position.
