Software Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an Application Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of financial applications. You will manage batch/business queries, incident management, and use tools like ITSM, JIRA, and ITRS.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Developing and maintaining software applications.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of programming experience & Production Support experience.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay Details$70.00 to $73.00 per hour
