Solution Architect (Java or .NET) – Contract

10 is currently seeking a Solution Architect (Java or .NET) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a Solution Architect to own the technical roadmap for enterprise-level applications, leading the design and modeling of end-to-end solutions using Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Act as the "North Star" for development teams, providing blueprints, coding standards, and architectural governance.
• Translate complex technical "debt" and "innovation" into business‑value language for C‑suite and non‑technical leaders.
• Architect and oversee the migration/deployment of applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Evaluate and recommend third‑party tools, frameworks, and libraries to enhance the development lifecycle.

• 10+ years in software engineering with at least 3+ years in a dedicated Architecture role.
• Deep expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and the broader JVM ecosystem OR expert‑level knowledge of .NET 6/8+, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops).
• Solid grasp of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure coding practices (OWASP).

• Experience with Legacy Modernization (refactoring monoliths into microservices).
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF).
• Exposure to Agentic AI integration or high‑scale data streaming (Kafka/Rabbit

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour.
