Teacher of Special Education - Fine

Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

* Develops lesson plans and prepares for the daily instruction program

* Evaluates student progress and provides progress reports as required

* Strives to maintain professional competence

* Identifies pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assists in assessing and helping pupils with school related problem

* Enforces school rules, administrative regulations and board policy

* Maintains communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interest of students

* Maintains a safe and orderly work area

* Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee

Qualifications:

* Endorsement #2475 Teacher of Student with Disabilities w/Endorsement #1001 New Jersey State Certification REQUIRED or #2470 Teacher of Handicap, Teacher of Elementary K-5

* MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement

* New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect

Terms:

* Salary, terms and conditions as per PEA contract

* Salary Range: $67,055- $94,219
