Teacher of History - PHS

Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey.

• Develop lesson plans and prepare for the daily instruction program
• Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports as required
• Strive to maintain professional competence
• Identify pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assist in assessing and helping pupils with school related problems
• Enforce school rules, administrative regulations and board policy
• Maintain communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members to best serve the interests of students
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Perform other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or their designee

• MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement
• New Jersey state residency requirements for public employees in effect

• Salary, terms and conditions as per PEA contract
• Salary Range: $67,055- $94,219
