Location:
Hybrid (3 Days per Week in Pennsauken, NJ)
Hourly Rate: ~ $80/HR+
Duration: 4-6 Months
Start: 2/16 or ASAP
Our team at Brain Works is actively working with a large, growing building materials company located in Pennsauken, NJ to fill a Controller level interim accounting need for the next 4-6 months. This position is covering a gap during a period of growth & transition and we’re seeking a leader with strong, stabilizing qualities. If you are a seasoned Controller with experience in a multi-entity environment going through a large system implementation, please take a look!
MUSTHAVE QUALIFICATIONS (must meet all qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience at the Assistant Controller or above level
- Experience managing 5 or more GL Accountants in a monthly close environment of 10 days or less
- Experience with a multi-location, multi-region environment with a high volume of customers and transactions
- Experience with system implementation and integrating multiple entities onto one ERP platform
- Experience working in both large and small companies ranging from $20M up to $1B+
- Strong Excel skills (minimum requirement is the creation of Pivot Tables & utilizing Lookups)
- CPA and/or Public Accounting experience preferred
- Experience with both Quick Books and SAP preferred
- Experience in the building materials, construction, manufacturing or distribution industries preferred
