Transports materials throughout designated areas in a safe and timely manner. Maintains a clean driving record and follows all New Jersey driving laws. Responsible for reprocessing all returned equipment.
Position Responsibilities- Delivery and pick up patient care items for Care at Home programs. Updates the courier log to ensure all proper records are accurately documented and maintained.
- Drives Vehicle Safely at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
- Coordinates with care team to create the best possible schedules and route for meeting department objectives. Communicates any potential delays with care team and patients.
- Must supply own vehicle. Maintains a clean vehicle and inspects their vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order.
- Reprocessing equipment to ensure all infection control policies around cleaning, disinfection, and supply equipment management are followed. Troubleshoots issues with malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
- Adheres to policies and procedures of the organization including HIPPA, infection prevention standards.
- Required Experience:
2 years driving experience. Ability to lift and carry packages as needed. Knowledge of patient care equipment. Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Good time management skills. - Required
Education:
High School degree or equivalent
Hourly Rate: $17.83 - $23.91. The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
