Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Join our team as an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician on the night shift (6pm - 6am). You will be responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across the manufacturing plant. Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to ensure continuous operation and timely repairs.
Responsibilities- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across the plant.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams for continuous operation.
- Wire motors, change sensors, transmitters, solenoid valves, switches, and pressure sensors.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment.
- Support the engineering team in executing projects efficiently.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair steam, refrigeration, and wastewater systems.
- Fabricate components, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Execute and complete Preventative Maintenance (PM) work without production interruption.
- Utilize SAP for purchase requisitions and work order management.
- 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/production (food/beverage/pharmaceutical/chemical operations).
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
- Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and PLC programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on and around sanitary systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Preferred experience in food manufacturing and GMP environments.
- Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills are a plus.
- Blue or Black Seal Boiler License is a plus.

Work EnvironmentWork the night shift from 6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training on the first shift for 2-3 weeks. Be part of a small team, supporting engineering and supervisors. Expect frequent lifting, stooping, and standing, with occasional exposure to uneven ground, heights, biohazards, excessive noise, extreme temperatures, dust, and fumes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
