Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
Salary: $93,600 - $104,000 (Based on experience)

This employee coordinates total resident care. The RN Nursing Supervisor performs supervisory and professional work in directing and coordinating all nursing units. The individual must have advanced training and broad nursing experience, including supervisory duties. The work requires administrative ability, knowledge of training techniques, the capability to adapt procedures to unusual situations, and the exercise of initiative and good judgment. All activities are carried out according to professional nursing standards, facility policies, and State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and practices.
- Knowledge of specialized procedures and equipment applied in the assigned area.
- Knowledge of dietetic, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
- Knowledge of medications, proper dosage, and expected results.
- Skill in handling and manipulating instruments and equipment.
- Ability to coordinate and supervise nursing functions effectively.
- Empathetic attitude toward residents, gaining their confidence for effective interaction.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
- Ability to recognize symptoms and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- Ability to train subordinates and organize training carried out by staff members.
- Positive interaction with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
- Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.
- Interact with residents, families, visitors, and employees.
- Carry out other tasks as requested where hands‑on intervention or participation may be required.
