Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Overview

Oasis at the Crescent is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for an Assisted Living Facility in Pennsauken, NJ. Candidates should have post-high school coursework in medical services or a college degree, and be certified in New Jersey. Experience working with the infirm and elderly is preferred.

• Accurately pour and dispense medications for residents and assist with medication administration as directed
• Ensure consistency between physician prescriptions, blister packs, and medications prepared for each resident
• Ensure timely and accurate medication orders and renewals
• Review medication refill logs and compare with medications in storage
• Review "no-refill" orders, fax requests to medical providers as needed
• Review receipt, storage, and documentation of medications delivered
• Communicate with the Medication Supervisor to clarify entitlements, prescriptions, and deliveries
• Maintain medical and medication information in residents  files
• Report missed or refused medications to the supervisor and case management
• Attend mandatory in-service training programs

• New Jersey LPN certification
• Post-high school coursework in medical services or college degree is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Familiarity with the needs of the infirm and the elderly

Full-time positions with shifts of 7:30am–7:30pm or 7:30pm–7:30am (three shifts per week). Rate: $29–$32 per hour.

Oasis at the Crescent is a cozy, friendly community located in Pennsauken, NJ. Services include three meals daily plus snacks, activities and recreation, onsite monitoring 24/7, transportation, housekeeping and laundry, case management, and medication assistance.
