Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

You will assist guests and team members with courteous service, clear communication, and prompt reporting of concerns. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support a caring, people-first culture while acting with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas and perimeter, documenting observations per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disruptive persons, alarms and property damage.
• Help to deter theft, loitering and other policy violations through visible presence, observation and timely reporting to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate with store staff and/or responding emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
