Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of hospital supplies and equipment. This position is based at the Cooper Distribution Center in Pennsauken, NJ.
Responsibilities- Daily delivery of supplies using a 26-foot diesel box truck or cargo van, including loading and off-loading of medical supplies and equipment, and daily vehicle maintenance (visual inspections and logging of issues).
- Pick requisition orders, receive shipments, and document in ERP; replenish inventory at the Distribution Center; and perform cycle counts of inventory.
- Load, unload, and deliver medical supplies and equipment between the Distribution Center and other Cooper facilities using a 26’ diesel box truck or cargo van.
- Daily maintenance of delivery vehicles (visual inspections, logging issues, cleanliness, etc.).
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, stacker, electric pallet truck, pallet jack, and compactor).
- Maintain cleanliness of the Distribution Center.
- Adhere to OSHA and other regulatory agency safety protocols and guidelines.
- Pick orders arriving at the Distribution Center from other Cooper facilities.
- Receive deliveries from distributors, shipping companies, and other suppliers; perform physical receipt and document in ERP.
- Restock bulk and LUM inventory items at the Distribution Center.
- Follow department procedures for FIFO and other inventory control measures as directed by management.
- Perform cycle counts of inventory located at the Distribution Center under management.
- Provide outstanding customer service when assisting suppliers and customers.
High School / GED Required. Vocational / Technical School Preferred.
Education Requirements3-5 years Supply Chain/Warehouse Required.
License/Certification RequirementsMust have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record must meet Cooper’s standard insurance criteria to be permitted to drive Cooper vehicles.
