Experienced Furniture Delivery Driver – 26’ Box Truck

Pennsauken, NJ | Full‑Time | Up to $25/hour + $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus

American Furniture Rental is hiring an experienced Furniture Delivery Driver / Installer for our Pennsauken, NJ location.

• Up to $25/hour based on experience
• $2,500 driver sign‑on bonus, paid quarterly over 12 months

• Local routes — drivers are home daily

• Primarily Monday through Friday
• Occasional night and weekend work based on business needs
• Average schedule approximately 45 hours per week
• During peak seasons — spring into early summer and fall into November — hours may increase, with some weeks reaching up to 70 hours
• Local routes with drivers home daily

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck in compliance with company and DOT requirements
• Deliver, install, and pick up furniture according to paperwork, floor plans, and customer instructions
• Load, secure, protect, and unload furniture properly
• Keep the truck organized and protect products during transport
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams
• Lead and direct helpers while on the road
• Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and product handling as needed

• Prior experience driving a 26’ box truck
• Prior furniture delivery, moving, installation, appliance delivery, or final‑mile delivery experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass pre‑employment and DOT drug screening
• Ability to pass DOT physical requirements
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, bend, push, pull, and stay active throughout the day
• Basic tool knowledge, including cordless drill, screwdriver, and hand tools
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
