Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Apollo, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the company's accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working with numbers and data.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.

- Utilize SAGE and MS Dynamics to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

- Enter data into accounting systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and error-free.

- Handle invoice processing, including verification and reconciliation of payments.

- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits as needed.

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies or inquiries regarding payments.

- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve accuracy.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

- Proficiency in SAGE, MS Dynamics, and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial reconciliation.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.

- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data.
