Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for performing a variety of transactional accounting services, including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparation. This role will also serve as a liaison to internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site, providing a balanced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the shared services team to ensure efficient and effective accounting operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a shared services environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

$90,000- $95,000
