Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Location: Cranberry Township

Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee a variety of financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and delivers precise financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and maintaining payment records.

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

- Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting activities.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with team members to support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Monitor financial activities to identify and address issues promptly.

- Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Keep financial records organized and up-to-date for easy access and review. Requirements

- Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

- Strong knowledge of journal entries and financial reconciliations.

- Familiarity with accounting principles and standards.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
