Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role will manage core accounting functions, support the monthly close process, and lead a small accounting team while partnering closely with senior leadership.

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes

• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis

• The Accounting Manager will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports

• The Accounting Manager will ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Support audits and assist with year-end reporting activities

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls

• The Accounting Manager will perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior supervisory or management experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERPs

• CPA or public accounting experience is a plus
