Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. As part of the manufacturing industry, this role focuses on ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. This is a long-term contract position, offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to essential accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations to ensure the seamless operation of accounts payable workflows.
- Manage travel and expense reports using Concur, providing support and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Handle intercompany transactions by overseeing payments and completing reconciliations with precision.
- Allocate tariffs and landed costs to imported goods, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Issue credit notes and resolve claims related to accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate records, performing timely check runs and invoice processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice discrepancies and streamline financial operations.
- Use Excel for effective data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews by preparing required documentation and delivering insights.
- Identify and implement process enhancements within the accounts payable department to improve efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable processes in an environment that values attention to detail.
- Proficiency in handling invoice coding, check runs, and payment processing.
- Familiarity with Concur for managing travel and expense reports.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Ability to manage intercompany transactions and reconcile accounts accurately.
- Knowledge of allocating tariffs and landed costs for imported goods.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
