Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
• The AP Specialist will process full-cycle accounts payable transactions and invoice workflows
• Reconcile assigned accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Review, code, and post invoices for approval
• The AP Specialist will manage vendor communications and escalated inquiries
• Execute check runs and support 1099 processing and reporting
• The AP Specialist will maintain accurate records and support process documentation
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
• 1+ year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting support
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of sales and use tax
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Vista/HCSS) preferred
