Senior Tax Associate

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take on increased client responsibility while developing leadership and advisory skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Senior Associate will lead tax engagements, oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, mentor junior staff, and work directly with clients to identify tax planning opportunities and provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Prepare and review individual, business, and trust tax returns.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Develop an understanding of clients' businesses, operations, and tax objectives.
• Work directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Proactively communicate with clients and adhere to the firm's 24-hour response policy.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and associates.
• Assist with workflow management and engagement deadlines.
• Stay current on tax legislation and industry developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing individual, business, and trust tax returns.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Travel may be required periodically.
