ASI currently has a hybrid work model. This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
ASI is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations across multiple companies. This role is responsible for cash management, accounts payable/receivable processes, fixed asset reporting, and monthly financial close activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing a wide range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual will serve as a key contributor to the accounting team to maintain financial integrity, support close processes, and deliver timely, accurate reporting across multiple entities.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Individual pay within the range will be based on role related experience, education, skills, and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Monitor cash balances, initiate transfers, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage biweekly payroll, including reconciliations and 401(k) contributions.
- Support benefits administration, PTO tracking, and insurance payments.
- Maintain fixed assets, including additions and depreciation.
- Assist with AR/AP functions, including billing, invoicing, and vendor payments.
- Prepare account reconciliations, analyses, and support month-end close.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Maintain vendor records and support audit requests.
- Perform general bookkeeping and identify process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals and account reconciliations.
- Experience with payroll processing and general ledger systems.
- Experience working with third-party payroll providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to shift priorities and support multiple functions in a small team.
- Strong team player who collaborates effectively within an established group.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and stepping in where needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
