Brayman Construction Corporation in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a full‑time Senior Accountant to play a key role within our Accounting Team. This position leads the month‑end close process, supports the preparation of financial statements, assists with tax computations, and provides timely financial analysis and periodic reporting for a diverse group of companies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

ScheduleMonday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Flexibility is occasionally required to meet operational needs.
Responsibilities- Prepare and record journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses, including support entry packages and account analysis.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with the month‑end close process to ensure items are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform analytical procedures to evaluate financial results and projections.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements for both internal and external reporting.
- Maintain equipment and fixed asset records, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of items.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 4–6 years of experience, including month‑end close.
- Experience working with multiple entities in various industries.
- Experience with labor unions and/or the construction industry is a plus.
This position requires work on project sites, including federal projects, and may entail site work at night and on weekends on an as‑needed basis. It is subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with the company’s federal contracting status.
