Overview

The Revenue team within the Corporate Accounting group is responsible for the following:
Revenue recognition and reporting across all business segments; maintenance of all revenue and billing systems; client billing and Accounts Receivable management; and internal control compliance for all revenue processes. The Staff Accountant will work with various accounting and billing systems to support the monthly invoicing and close process across SEI business units.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the monthly and quarterly invoicing processes.
  • Review and track client contract changes.
  • Follow up with various internal teams to ensure invoices are approved.
  • Apply cash receipts as necessary.
  • Follow up on aged receivables.
  • Handle various monthly close responsibilities.
  • Record monthly journal entries and provide revenue analysis.
  • Reconcile related revenue and balance sheet accounts at month end.
  • Maintain and update procedures and SOX narratives for assigned business processes.
  • Work with auditors throughout the year on various requests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Revenue Billing systems (Fiserv’s Advantage Fee and Broadridge’s Revport).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong technical skills and experience working with various accounting systems.
  • Ability to think and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and follow through with goals and objectives.
  • Ability to develop and manage successful internal and external relationships.
